According to PAGASA’s storm forecast issued on Monday, November 11, there could be up to three tropical cyclones inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this week.

A tropical depression located east of the Philippines is expected to enter the PAR and will be named “Ofel” before Tropical Storm “Nika” exits on Tuesday. Ofel is forecast to move toward Northern Luzon and may make landfall by Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm “Man-yi,” currently east of Guam, is also projected to enter the PAR before the weekend. It will be named “Pepito” and is expected to track toward the Bicol region or Eastern Visayas.

As the week progresses, PAGASA has urged the public to stay alert and prepare for any potential disruptions caused by the approaching cyclones.
