Filipino pharmaceutical company TADESO Pharmaceutical Ventures Inc. has launched two Korean-developed dermatological products in the Philippines, betting on growing demand for science-based treatments for chronic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis.
The company introduced DWA-AT and Skin Atoz during a product launch in Quezon City on September 18, positioning the products as steroid-free options designed to help repair compromised skin and manage persistent irritation.

TADESO, which stands for Targeted Dermatological Solutions, said its goal is to offer medical-grade skin and wound-care products that combine natural ingredients with clinical research, while making them more accessible to Filipino patients through online and retail channels.
The launch also marked the company’s formal entry into the Philippine dermatological market, where it hopes to introduce Korean medical innovations for people living with long-term skin conditions that often require ongoing treatment and care.
The company was founded by dermatologist and chief executive Dr. Ria Dela Cruz, whose own experience with eczema inspired the business.
“No More Hiding — Unmask. Heal.”

Dela Cruz said she spent more than a decade searching for ways to manage recurring eczema after years of relying on steroid medication for asthma and allergies. That journey, she said, became the foundation for TADESO’s mission to provide alternatives for people living with chronic skin disorders.
Her personal experience shaped the company’s philosophy of looking beyond cosmetic skincare and focusing on products designed for compromised skin. TADESO said it aims to combine natural ingredients with science and medical innovation to develop targeted dermatological and wound-care solutions that patients can trust.
The company says its products are intended to bridge the gap between conventional skincare and therapeutic dermatological care, focusing on restoring the skin barrier rather than simply masking symptoms. It also wants to encourage people with visible skin conditions to seek treatment rather than conceal their skin.

DWA-AT is formulated for eczema, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis. It contains glycerol, tannin, honey, and herbal extracts, and is free from steroids and parabens. TADESO says the formulation is designed to support skin regeneration and strengthen the skin’s natural protective barrier.
The company said DWA-AT is intended for people dealing with recurring inflammatory skin conditions, which can cause persistent itching, redness and irritation. It described the product as a targeted therapeutic option for individuals looking for steroid-free management of chronic flare-ups.
Skin Atoz, meanwhile, is a moisturizing lotion developed for sensitive or damaged skin, including burns, rashes, atopic dermatitis, and post-laser treatment. It is free from steroids, antihistamines, and parabens; and contains glycerol, honey, herbal extracts, and carbomer to help calm redness and support healing.
According to TADESO, Skin Atoz is designed to moisturise compromised skin while supporting the healing process and reducing discomfort associated with irritation and dryness. Together with DWA-AT, it forms part of the company’s broader dermatological and wound-care product portfolio.

At the launch, aesthetic medicine practitioner Dr. Johanna Ojeda discussed the causes of chronic inflammatory skin conditions and the physical and emotional impact they can have on patients. She said disorders such as eczema and atopic dermatitis often affect not only the skin but also a person’s confidence and quality of life.
TADESO said its products have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and are supported by scientific studies and international quality and safety standards. The company said its therapeutic formulations were developed to meet global healthcare benchmarks as part of its commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.
Beyond product development, TADESO said accessibility is a key part of its strategy. It plans to expand the availability of its dermatological products through online platforms, pharmacies, brick-and-mortar retailers, and digital health partners in an effort to reach more Filipino patients nationwide.
Dela Cruz said the company’s ambition extends beyond selling pharmaceutical products.
“We want people to experience hope, confidence, and the feeling that they are not alone in their skin journey.”

The product launch, which was held at Luxent Hotel, brought together members of the media, healthcare professionals, and business partners. The program featured presentations from TADESO executives, including Dela Cruz and head of sales and marketing Janet Palmenco, who outlined the company’s products, direction, and long-term vision.
The event concluded with a media question-and-answer session and product demonstrations, giving guests an opportunity to learn more about DWA-AT, Skin Atoz, and TADESO’s approach to targeted dermatological care. Television host and entrepreneur RJ Ledesma and Yna Uy—founder of Asia World Fashion Week and Versa, and Supermodel Universe International 2025—served as hosts for the launch.
