Booksale Philippines is entering a “new chapter,” with some of its branches closing, but CEO Josh Sison assures Filipino bookworms of “exciting plans” ahead.

In a statement on Facebook on Tuesday, Sison thanked loyal customers for their support over the years, adding that the store is committed to continuing its mission of making reading affordable and accessible.

“We’re excited to continue finding new and creative ways to make reading affordable and accessible as we have done so for the past 35 years,” he said.

“So, here’s to the stories yet to be told and the adventures that await—both on the page and in the world beyond!” Sison added.

Booksale, known for offering both new and used books at affordable prices, has branches across the country.
