CIMB Bank is under fire after multiple users reported unauthorized fund transfers, with some losing as high as P400,000.

Victims say they followed cybersecurity best practices and did not share login details or click suspicious links.

Social media is now flooded with screenshots of similar incidents, all involving sudden, unexplained transfers to unknown CIMB accounts.

In response, CIMB took its mobile app offline on Saturday evening, citing system maintenance. Users were locked out without warning, further fueling concern. Many are demanding immediate action, full transparency, and the return of lost funds, as fears grow over a wider breach.

CIMB has yet to issue a public statement. Regulators and affected customers are urging the bank to confirm whether authorities, including the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, have been notified and to guarantee full cooperation in any investigation.
