Ford Philippines has introduced the Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum, a new range-topping variant that brings more premium styling, enhanced cabin amenities, and advanced driver-assistance technology to the Territory lineup.
The launch follows the first anniversary of the Territory Hybrid in the Philippines. Since its introduction, the hybrid SUV has recorded sustained demand, with sales reaching 4,405 units as of June 2026.
“We are incredibly proud of the Territory Hybrid and the overwhelming reception it has achieved over the past year. Leveraging on its popularity and appeal to Filipino customers, we are introducing the Territory Hybrid Platinum,” says Byron Daquil, director for retail product marketing and business growth, Ford Philippines.
“With the Territory Hybrid Platinum, we are bringing a new level of driving sophistication for customers seeking the space, comfort, and safety of a family SUV combined with the refinement of a luxury vehicle,” Daquil added.
A more refined cabin
The Territory Hybrid Platinum builds on the model’s spacious and practical interior with premium touches designed to elevate the driving experience. The cabin features Platinum-design quilted leather seats, ventilated front seats and illuminated PLATINUM scuff plates.
One of its most distinctive features is Digital Scent, a built-in, alcohol-free fragrance system integrated into the center console. It gradually disperses fragrance throughout the cabin, with intensity adjustable through the 12-inch touchscreen.
Drivers can choose from six scent profiles designed for different moods. Three—Whispers of Dawn, Velvet Ember, and Verdant Rush—come pre-installed, while Amber Veil, Azure Oud, and Soul Velocity are available separately through Ford dealerships.
The cabin also features an Arkamys 10-speaker sound system with a dedicated center speaker, subwoofer, 9-band equalizer, and 320-watt amplifier. Its 3D audio algorithm creates an immersive 5.1 surround-sound experience, while occupants can adjust the sound coverage for the entire cabin, driver’s seat, or rear seats. The system also offers five professional presets, speed-compensated volume, and directional audio safety alerts.
A two-panel panoramic sunroof brings additional natural light into the cabin. The cargo area offers 448 liters of capacity, expanding to 1,442 liters with the second-row seats folded. A hands-free power tailgate adds convenience, while illuminated door-sill plates provide a welcome lighting effect when the doors open.
For added comfort, the Territory Hybrid Platinum comes with a smart air-filtration system combining a PM2.5 filter and ionizer to continuously purify the cabin air.
Distinctive platinum styling
The Territory Hybrid Platinum gets a two-tone front bumper, black roof, and gloss-black side mirrors, complemented by PLATINUM hood lettering.
Its front end is defined by a coast-to-coast LED daytime running light that emphasizes the vehicle’s width. Automatic high beam is also included to improve nighttime visibility.
At the rear, dedicated PLATINUM badging, gloss-black roof rails with shark-fin antenna, a gloss-black rear bumper finish, and new 19-inch alloy wheels give the SUV a more distinctive road presence.
Hybrid power without plugging in
The Territory Hybrid Platinum is powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four dedicated hybrid engine paired with a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and a 1.83-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion NCM high-voltage battery.
The hybrid powertrain produces up to 150 PS of engine power and 230 Nm of engine torque, while the electric motor delivers up to 218 PS and 315 Nm of torque.
The system can operate in EV, Series, Parallel, or Energy Recovery modes, allowing it to optimize power delivery and fuel use in different driving conditions, particularly in stop-and-go urban traffic.
Because the battery is replenished through regenerative braking and energy recovered from the internal combustion engine, the Territory Hybrid Platinum does not require external charging. Ford says the vehicle can achieve fuel efficiency of up to 19.6 km/L and a driving range of up to 1,000 km on a full tank.
Expanded driver-assistance technology
The Territory Hybrid Platinum features dual 12-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Ford app connectivity.
Its driver-assistance suite adds Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA).
When Adaptive Cruise Control is active and vehicle speed drops below 60 km/h in congested traffic, TJA can automatically engage. The system manages speed and helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane, reducing the need for frequent driver inputs.
When lane markings are clearly visible, TJA uses them to maintain the vehicle’s position. If only one lane marking is detected, it uses that marking to determine the vehicle’s path. When neither lane marking is clearly identifiable, the system switches to Follow Mode and adjusts the vehicle’s direction based on the path of the vehicle ahead.
Once traffic clears and the vehicle accelerates beyond 60 km/h, Adaptive Cruise Control takes over. Working with ACC, ICA manages acceleration and braking while making small steering adjustments to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.
If lane markings become unclear or disappear, the system alerts the driver to resume control before disengaging.
Pricing and availability
The Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum is priced at ₱1,655,000, including a five-year warranty and a free two-year scheduled service plan.
It is available in Moonbay Blue, Lustrous Grey, and Crystal Pearl White.
