Foundever has won the Silver Award for Excellence in Addressing Urban Workforce Challenges at the HR Excellence Awards 2026, with its University and Community Partnership (UCP) program recognized for expanding career opportunities and strengthening workforce development across the Philippines.
The award honors the company’s UCP program, which connects universities, local communities, and aspiring professionals with employment opportunities through partnerships that help bridge the transition from education to the workforce. The initiative aims to make career opportunities more accessible to emerging talent while supporting inclusive and sustainable workforce development in communities nationwide.
Through the program, Foundever collaborates with academic institutions and community organizations to introduce students and job seekers to career pathways and employment opportunities closer to where they live and study. The company said the initiative is designed to help young professionals begin their careers while addressing workforce needs in underserved areas.
“Receiving this recognition reflects our commitment to creating opportunities that help people grow and thrive,” said Willy Lim, vice president for hunan resources, marketing and communications, and talent acquisition at Foundever for the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand.
“Through UCP, we work with our university and community partners to help people take meaningful steps forward in their careers. This recognition is a shared success for our teams and partners who continue to address workforce needs while preparing people for the future.”
Foundever was also named a finalist in the Excellence in Agile Talent Mobility category for its Talent+ program, an internal career development initiative that helps associates pursue opportunities across the organization through structured career pathways, upskilling programs, and future-ready skills development.
The company said Talent+ supports employees in building new capabilities, exploring different roles and advancing their careers within the organization through professional development and internal mobility.
The latest recognition adds to Foundever’s track record at the HR Excellence Awards. In previous years, the company was named Grand Winner for Excellence in In-House Talent Pipeline Strategy and was also recognized as a finalist for Excellence in CSR Strategy, Excellence in Talent Acquisition, and Excellence in Workplace Culture.
