Oktoberfest returns to Newport World Resorts for a four-night celebration

The Philippines’ premier leisure and entertainment destination is bringing back Oktoberfest for its fourth year from October 28 to 31 at The Ballroom, Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts. For four nights, the ballroom transforms into a lively Bavarian beer hall, where long communal tables, overflowing steins, and festive music set the tone for an authentic Oktoberfest celebration.

A proper Oktoberfest begins with beer in hand. Weihenstephaner will flow throughout the evening, with Weiss, Wheat, and Dunkel served on tap, bringing nearly a thousand years of brewing heritage to every glass. Brewed at the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany, it is recognized as the world’s oldest brewery—a fitting centerpiece for a festival that has been celebrated for more than two centuries.

The beer is paired with a full Bavarian feast prepared by Newport World Resorts’ award-winning culinary team. Warm laugen pretzels and German breads start the meal, followed by sausages, crispy pork knuckle, schnitzel, and other hearty favorites, with traditional sweets rounding out the spread.

As the evening unfolds, the celebration shifts into high gear. AnTon Showband returns from Bavaria for all four nights, filling The Ballroom with traditional Oktoberfest music and lively performances that quickly draw guests into the festivities. Before long, voices join the songs, steins rise with every cheer, and the aisles between tables become part of the celebration.

The festivities also bring friendly competition. Guests can test their endurance in stein holding, race for bragging rights in beer chugging, or try their hand at hammerschlagen as fellow revelers cheer them on.

After four years at Newport World Resorts, Oktoberfest continues to bring the spirit of the Bavarian tradition to Manila through an evening of food, beer, music, and shared celebration—one meant to be remembered long after the final Prost.
