The clink of beer steins, the sound of Bavarian music, and the aroma of sausages and freshly baked pretzels will fill the Solaire Grand Ballroom this month as Oktoberfest returns to Manila.
From October 8 to 10, Solaire Resort Entertainment City, together with the German Club Manila, will recreate the convivial atmosphere of Munich’s famed Wiesn, bringing together German food, beer, and music for three evenings of celebration.

The ballroom will be transformed into a Bavarian-style beer hall, with long communal tables encouraging guests to settle in over steins of Hofbräu München beer. As the evening progresses, Bavarian Sound Express will take the stage, providing the traditional soundtrack to a celebration that is as much about camaraderie as it is about food and drink.
For Solaire’s culinary team, the menu is central to the experience. Sebastian Kellerhoff, the resort’s German chef-turned-vice president of food & beverage and culinary, has curated a selection inspired by the hearty fare associated with Bavaria.
Guests can expect laugenbrezel, the classic Bavarian pretzel, alongside wiesen jause, an assortment of artisanal cold cuts and cheeses. A selection of meats includes frankfurter and weisswurst, the traditional white sausage, served with customary accompaniments.
Dessert takes a distinctly German turn with warm apfelstrudel and schwarzwälder kirschtorte, better known as Black Forest gateau.

The beer is equally integral to the occasion. Hofbräu München, whose history is closely associated with Munich’s beer culture, will be served throughout the festivities, giving the Manila celebration a direct connection to the traditions of the original Oktoberfest.
Yet the appeal of the event extends beyond its Bavarian menu and beer. The partnership between Solaire and the German Club Manila reflects a longstanding effort to bring German culture and traditions to a Philippine audience, while placing them within a distinctly Manila setting.
For guests, the result is an evening built around some of Oktoberfest’s enduring rituals: communal dining, music, dancing, raised steins, and the inevitable Prost as the night gathers pace.
Reservations for the October 8, 9 and 10 celebrations can be made by calling +632 8888 8888 or visiting Solaire’s Oktoberfest 2026 page. Solaire Rewards members can enjoy exclusive dining privileges during the event.
