Toyota Motor Philippines is stepping up its push into electrified mobility, opening a five-day public showcase at Alabang Town Center where shoppers can examine its latest hybrid and battery-electric models as the event continues through March 29.
Staged at the mall’s Town Plaza in Muntinlupa City, the “Go Beyond Zero” display brings together the all-new RAV4 Hybrid Electric Vehicle, the Urban Cruiser Battery Electric Vehicle, and the bZ4X, positioning them as part of a broader strategy to widen consumer access to lower-emission transport.
The activation, which began on March 25, blends product viewing with test drives, charging demonstrations, and on-site consultations, reflecting a more experiential approach to selling electrified vehicles in a market still building familiarity with the technology. The event is designed to meet consumers where they already are—high-traffic retail spaces—while lowering barriers to understanding newer vehicle technologies.

Visitors can test drive the Urban Cruiser BEV and the bZ4X while observing how the vehicles are charged, a practical demonstration aimed at easing concerns around range and infrastructure. Those interested in the RAV4 HEV can arrange test drives through participating dealerships, while brand representatives walk guests through the mechanics and ownership considerations of Toyota’s expanding xEV lineup. Informational displays outline the company’s long-running investment in electrification and its so-called multi-pathway approach, which spans hybrids and full battery-electric models. Interactive elements and guided explanations further aim to translate technical features into everyday benefits for prospective buyers.
The showcase also extends to the premium segment, with Lexus presenting the LM 350h seven-seater and the RX 350h Executive at a separate area within the complex, underscoring how the group’s luxury arm is advancing alongside Toyota’s mainstream offerings. The presence of both brands in a single venue signals a coordinated push across price points as the company deepens its electrification footprint.

“Toyota is committed to answering the different needs of our customers. The addition of the all-new RAV4 HEV and new Urban Cruiser BEV is part of our multi-pathway approach in providing different electrified xEV options for the diverse mobility needs of our customers,” said Elijah Marcial, first vice president for vehicle sales operations at Toyota Motor Philippines.
The RAV4 HEV arrives in LTD and ADV variants, both equipped with the E-Four all-wheel-drive system that pairs a gasoline engine with dual electric motors, targeting buyers seeking a balance of efficiency and performance in a compact SUV. The ADV variant is priced from ₱2.183 million, while the LTD starts at ₱2.499 million, with a range of exterior color options offered across both trims, giving buyers flexibility in both styling and specification.

The Urban Cruiser BEV, Toyota’s second fully electric model in the Philippines after the bZ4X, is positioned for city driving with a claimed range of up to 475 kilometers from a 61.1-kWh lithium-iron battery pack. It is priced at ₱2.135 million and offered in multiple finishes, aimed at urban consumers looking to transition to fully electric mobility without sacrificing practicality.
By combining hands-on exposure with direct consumer engagement, Toyota is using the Alabang event to translate its electrification strategy into showroom traffic—an effort that continues to draw visitors ahead of its scheduled close on Sunday, March 29, as the company seeks to build momentum for broader adoption of hybrid and battery-electric vehicles in the Philippine market.
